I basically drew this because 1) I made a really similar cartoony portrait of my friend Erica and decided I wanted one for me too and 2) I wanted to practice the angle where I'm looking over my shoulder. I just think it's a really awesome angle mmkay don't judge me.
Speaking of the Ericadrawing, which I don't feel like putting on here, (It's on my other blog which I don't feel like linking to) the colours on that one are a little more...well...coloury. It's because I scanned this one in grayscale at 600 resolution and the other one in colour at 300 resolution. In retrospect, I should have done what I did on the other one because that kind of sepia-toneish glow looks super purdy.
Also, here we see me in a shirt that I would probably not wear in everyday life. Why? Because it's the only type of shirt I can draw and get right from this angle. I'm just experimenting with it right now. Jeepers. And it's not like I've been really into drawing my whole life, either...I've always enjoyed it, but I never really cared about sharing my stuff until I started getting into webcomics.
Speaking of which, I was Lucy from BCB for Halloween :3 My official story was being a white kitty. But I wanna show the BCB people pics and maybe they'll worship me or something.
